Here is a Balinese Temple that I designed and built for the Heins in Dallas. While simple in design, a beast to build since we use authentic materials like Teak in the construction. The wood is so dense and hard that there isn't any nails in it. All holes were drilled then screwed. Even the roof singles are screwed on.

Tolbert's Bar
Here are a few photos of the bar at Tolbert's Restaurant in Grapevine. This was designed and built to feel like an old western style turn of the century bar. Notice the details in the wood trim on the top of the bar. I used Alder Wood in the construction to help create that old time feel. The two post were found at a junk yard and incorporated into the design. Along with fluted columns, the post create a strong focal point. The dark wood applique above the mirror came off an old chest mirror frame. The same stain was used on the entire bar. The difference is the dark areas, the stain was allowed to dry without being completely wiped off. The addition of the back lights brings depth to the bar too. The turn of the century lights over the bar were bought at Lowes. The back walls are done in a Faux Southwestern Adobe look. The counter tops are done in granite
